I really want to grow my hair out.
It's getting long(er)...
But, I'm very tempted to get it cut.
I suck.
Taking Drew to his PET scan tomorrow!
Pray for no more cancer.

Concert.
UH-MAY-ZING.
<3 what else is new, though?
Drew and I have never seen so many skinny jeans and multi colored hair in our lives! haha okay, maybe we have, but still. Wow. It was fun, though. FOB always puts on a great show and the other bands were great. I think Pete is turning into Conor Oberst, juuuust a little. Haha. Anyways, loved the show. Can't wait for the next one! :P

Venting.
Okay, first of all, today sucked. I had so much planned and so much to do.. buuut, well. yeah.
I was originally scheduled to work 6-10 (yeah, 4 hours), but hours were cut, so I was switched to "on-call". (Which is where you have to call an hour before the shift to see if they need you or not.) Well, there was a family thing going on tonight that I pretty much had to go to, so I called PacSun up and was like, "Hey, I'm really sorry, but there's no way I can work tonight. Maybe Tuna can work?" Well, they call back and are like, "yeah, the shift's covered, you're fine." So, I'm like, cooool :D But about an hour later they call back and are like, "Hey, ***** said that you have to work or you'll be written up because you're not sick." And since I am such a great employee, I said, "sorry fam, but apparently my job comes before you." It kind of pisses me off about the "because you're not sick" thing. I've heard of people calling in because their car didnt start, BECAUSE THEY WERE FIGHTING WITH THEIR BOYFRIEND (ahem), sooo many reasons. But No. I don't get any slack for calling in 5 hours before my shift and having someone cover it so I can see my family during the holidays. I know, it's too much to ask. Whatever. I'm so over being pissed off all the time.
Good things happening this weekend:
1.) working an early shift tomorrow.
2.) taking my dad to see a movie.
3.) getting our christmas tree.
4.) "the year without a santa claus" tomorrow at 7! my FAVORITE !!!! <3<3
5.) Fall Out Boy, The Acadamy Is..., The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.... enough said.
Muuuuch love <3

About that last post...
I guess I was just kidding? Uhh... Yeah. We'll see what happens, but all I can say is I need a higher wage and a lot more hours, so that's going to be a factor in all my decisions.
I'm a little embarrassed. Way to go, Taryn!

Things Taryn needs to save her money for.
1. The lovely road trip Drew and I plan to take. (At least two weeks. We're going to visit Chicago, the Grand Canyon, Vegas, and L.A.)
2. A new car. Lil' Pink just isn't hacking it anymore.
3. An apartment or house. Preferably a house.
4. Random bills.
5. Oh, and a wedding. :]
Luckily, I am more motivated to boost that income. Since I've been at the same company for over two years and barely make more than minimum wage, I figured it was time to climb up that ladder! Word on the street is that the Genesee Valley Pacsun was hiring an assistant manager. So, I trucked (carred) out there and said, "Listen here, Sean. I've been with this company for soooo long, bro. Hook a sister up." And believe it or not, he says, while he's bowing at my feet, "My dearest Taryn. I will do nothing less than give you a job." So, basically, I have to take in a shining piece of paper bearing my past and all my intentions in the form of a Resume. Hey, to much better paychecks! :D
I mean, I love the opportunity, but I have a feeling I'll miss everyone in Birch Run. But, we'll see what happens.
Okay, goodnight world! <3

i'm not unfaithful, but i'll stray.
actually, i'd never stray. :] i just have a new-found love for Tegan and Sara.
aaaanyways.
for the past, i dont know, 8 years i've always complained about winter. i've endlessly talked about the anticipation of moving to Arizona and never seeing snow again. granted, it would be wonderful to be able to lay out everyday or wear shorts and tank tops as much as i wanted... but, i've come to appreciate the weather during the holidays. as long as i've lived, snow was celebrated with Christmas. i've always longed for the nights where it'd snow enough to get a snow day. i've learned the snow is very calming, its easy to get lost with family and friends in front of the TV with a cup of cocoa. so, no more complaining about the weather from me.. well, i wont complain as much as i usually do.
and about AZ. i dont think i'll be able to move across the country. i have too much here. this is my home. i dont want to start my family without having MY family with me. so i think i'll let that dream slide. plus, my past recently moved there. i dont think i want to chase the past. not that i'd be chasing it anyways, but you get it.
also, i've only seen about half of Sex and the City: the movie, and i'm pretty sure it scared me out of marraige. :( not really, but it is pretty depressing during that first hour and a half. not that i think Drew would ever leave me at the altar.. he loves me too much :)
okay, enough boredom for one blog.
love you<3

ps. i think i lost all hope in 10 more years of college.

meh, as usual.
So, the past couple weeks have been a little hectic. I blame the stress from work and school, but understand other possible reasons.
A couple weeks back, Drew and I decided to see a movie. We had free tickets, but didn't really care for any of the movies that were out the time we could see it. So, we pretty much picked a movie and went, because, well... it was free. It was Changeling. And, GOD. I'm so happy we saw it. It was completely depressing, but amazing at the same time. It was so suspenseful and hopeless (yet, hopeful). It was great, I highly recommend it. (Along with Zack & Miri and Sex Drive)
I'm just about sick of working through the holidays. I wish I could just spend time with my family without having to watch the clock for my next shift. It's unbelievable how a 5 hour shift can completely drain me. Not mentioning the 1-10 shift I worked on a hectic Saturday.
Anyways, today was boring. I missed both of my classes (usual) because I've felt like crap all day. My back feels like a semi ran it over. I feel like every inch of my intestines are twisting around eachother. My cysts are coming back. I'm just one helluva mess, ya hear?
Thats enough. <3
XOXO

tidbits.
i actually went to math class today. i think i deserve some sort of medal or something along the lines of a free vacation.
speaking of vacation, i really want to go to cancun and costa rica... soon. my grandma got us a free vacation. all inclusive. 11 days, or something. all i need to buy is the plane tickets. HOLLER!
im tired of school already. i still have like, 10 years left. i'll be fine and everything.. just looking forward to taking a break. (spring and summer) i'll be applying at UM flint for the Fall semester. pretty excited.
also, i heard from Jason (Anderson) again, today. cant believe that kid is in Ecuador, but he's enjoying it.
alright, much love <3

Dum Dum Dee Dum...
I bought my dress! I know it's a little soon, but I couldn't pass up the good deal. I bought the dress, the slip, the bra, the veil, and the tiara/headband.. all for 800 bucks. hehe. It's a little steep just looking at that number, but that's pretty cheap for a wedding dress+accessories. Plus, I got this credit card thing that has no interest and no payments for a year. So, that is pretty cool. Whereas if I had waited to buy it til after November 1st, I would have only had 6 months of no interest and no payments. So I couldn't pass it up. Its a very gorgeous dress. Its nothing overwhelming, its pretty simple, just the way I like things. But its perfect! <3 I decided that the colors will be black, red, and white. Plain and simple. I want lilies, too. :] My favorites. Okay, I suppose this is enough, I'm just uuber excited and ready :]

Obama's a terrorist? What? ....
I cant take it anymore! This blog is in response to a family member's ignorance.
This certain someone doesn't like to keep up with the presidential candidates and doesn't even know who supports what. But, she is very swayable. Some days she believes in Obama, some days she thinks he's a terrorist. Which brings me to this point.
Everyday, she gets a new chain letter e-mail stating that Barack Obama is a terrorist, or associates with terrorists, yadda yadda.
I just think it's comical that aallllll these people are freaking out about a "terrorist thats going to take over our country". I'm preettttyyy sure our government knows everything about these guys. The secret service would know if one of these guys is a terrorist, or is associated with them. I dont think they would allow an alleged terrorist who is going to "blow our country to shreds" run for the most important office in our country. It's obvious. Do you really think that would happen? Hope not. Thats just pure ignorance.
Second point. She also got a chain letter e-mail saying that Obama wasn't even born in the United States, making him ineligible to run for President. Is the person who started this thread absolutely dim-witted? Have they ever heard of google? Obama was born in Hawaii. Just because his dad's black and was born in Kenya doesn't mean Obama was, too.
I can't even begin to explain how imbecile people are. Do your goddamn research. Stop reading chain e-mails. Just because this man is black doesn't mean anything. He has overcome something a WOMAN hasn't even done, yet. I think people need to stop looking at the color of this man's skin and start realizing that he has great intentions. And he's not a fucking terrorist.

What do you wish would happen by the end of today?
I wish I can make other people smile as much as I smile.
Honest.
Honest.
House. Clouds. Supercoolvideo.
I can't deny my love for Gregory House any longer. Really. This season has been awesome so far! And I keep getting more and more excited for the next episode. (Never saw that coming from Thirteen.)
Anyways, started my tattoo and it looks aaaaamazing! Can't wait to get it finished. It's going to look so haawwt.
Also, I don't care if you just happened to skim across my blog and you don't intend on reading any of this*, but I do intend for you to watch this video. It was brought to my attention from a funky little lad and I fell in love with it. It has a great meaning. It's a little long, but its worth it. (I can hear you, Drew. THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!)
Fifty People, One Question: New Orleans from Benjamin Reece on Vimeo.
Alright, Ciao!
XOXO.
*but, you had to have been reading it.. right?

Storms and such.

You know the lightning bolts on my hip? Well, I'm getting quite the addition to them tomorrow. I guess this is my Sweetest Day present from Drew. :D Anyways,
<< here's what it looks like.
Sweet, eh? I think so. It's going to wrap up and around my hip, going to the back. Someday, my whole side is going to be done. It's going to be stelllllllar.
And if anyone's a big Office fan like me, how awesome is the whole Mike and Holly situation?! And how stupid is Jan?!
Anyways, I'm going to shower. I'm on call to work today. How lame is that? I have to prepare to work, but there is a 50% chance that I won't even have to work. I guess it gives me some motivation to not sit around in my pink Soffe shorts on cut-off sleeved Osbournes shirt. Right on.

"Taryn, you should go to class..."
Math class, that is. Math class for morons. It's the only class I dread going to. I've missed a couple days already. And, it looks like I'm just gonna have to miss today, also. I feel like I'm starting to get sick, anyways. Like, throw up sick. Not the "common cold" sick. :|
Drew and I are going to start looking for a place to shack up sometime after my birthday, which is February 7th if you didn't know. I'm really excited about it, though. I just need a steady job with steady hours and steady paychecks. No more "I only make good money in fall and winter!". Retail just doesn't cut it, this time. I'm going to go put in App's and my Resume at a couple nursing homes in the area. Maybe a couple doctor's offices, too. I just want to go somewhere that's in my career field and will always have shifts.
Back to school for a sec. I was planning on going to Ann Arbor for Pre-Med, but then I saw Flint had the classes for it. So, I decided that Pre-Med would be done in Flint; Med school will be done in Ann Arbor. That way I save SOME money.. meh.
Anyways, I was talking to somebody and they had never seen this video. Granted, they probably don't know this blog exists, but regardless, I'm posting it anyways for my own benefit. It cracks me up everytime.

Mott Hook up? Not that way, silly.
Third one today! Hah, I know how to annoy people. Anyways, I thought this was really exciting. Last Thursday during my lab, me and my professor were just chit chatting. He asked me if I was going into Nursing along with 95% of the class. I told him that I wasn't and he became very excited when he asked if I was "Pre-Med". Of course, that's what I'm going for! So, he goes on and on about how he's going to take me under his wing and "give me all his resources". Super cool. He's even hooking me up with an internship next semester. Now, that's all good news and such, but the best part is.......
He's one of the FIVE people on the acceptance committee at UofM Ann Arbor. My dream school! And a very hard school to get into, being only 5% of MCCers, such as me, get in. So, with the help from good ol' Pandrangi, I should have a good chance at getting in. Hey to $35,000 tuitions!

So, we picked a date. New Year's Day of 2011. That way, it gives us ample amount of time to plan and save, plus we'll be bringin' in the New Year as Husband and Wife. :D
I guess this is me telling you (if you plan on attending) to not be completely hungover. I mean, do what you want. :] Just know, we'll have a little afterparty, ourselves.
I've never been a fan of Winter. I always imagined a Summer/beach wedding. Not only is a Winter wedding cheaper, but a snowstorm looks so much better than a thunderstorm. (Considering it's a shot in the dark predicting the weather in Michigan.)
I haven't been all crazy planning, or anything. Just researching. TheKnot.com does a really good job for planning and all that jazz, so I've been checking that out. I'm pretty amped to go try on dresses... I'm not even sure what kind I want!
Aaannyways, I'm just getting the hang of this thing, so I'll update soon!

Introductions and such.
Hey, everybody who decides to read this! Not that I'm a huge blogger, but I decided to make this blog for all the crazy things I have going on right now. Expect to read about wedding plans, drew, school, work, etc. Mostly wedding plans, though. I'm hooked on this site called TheKnot.com. It got me in the funk of making this silly blog. Plus, it beats the myspace blog. My email is Tarynitup7@gmail.com if anyone ever needs to talk. Or whatever. So, come check this thing out once in a while.
